Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how ClaudePromt ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our platform. By using ClaudePromt, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as:

• Account details: name, username, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash)
• Profile content: avatar image, prompts, templates, and team data you create
• Communications: messages you send through our support system
• Usage data: prompts built, features used, and session activity

We also collect certain technical data automatically:

• IP address and approximate location (city, country) for session security
• Browser type, operating system, and device type
• Login timestamps and session tokens

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the ClaudePromt platform
• To authenticate your identity and secure your account
• To send transactional emails (verification, password reset, support replies)
• To display session information in your security settings
• To detect and prevent abuse, spam, and unauthorised access
• To improve the platform based on aggregate usage patterns

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We may share limited data with:

• Email providers (Resend) to deliver transactional emails
• AI inference providers (Groq) to process prompt generation requests — only the content you submit to the builder is sent
• Hosting providers for infrastructure operation
• Law enforcement if required by applicable law

Community prompts you choose to publish are visible to all registered users of the platform.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Security → Delete account, which permanently removes all your data. Session logs are retained for up to 30 days. Support messages are retained for 12 months.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser session cookies for authentication. We also use localStorage to remember your UI preferences (theme, sidebar state). We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

6. Security

Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Sessions are token-based. We enforce email verification and optional two-factor authentication. Login sessions are monitored and can be individually revoked from your security settings. Despite these measures, no system is completely secure — please use a strong, unique password.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can:

• Update your profile and email from Settings → Profile
• Export your data from Settings → Privacy → Download data
• Delete your account from Settings → Security
• Contact us at privacy@claudepromt.eu for any other requests

8. Children

ClaudePromt is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via an in-app announcement. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
